EPISODE 5

Seven teams remain and already, cracks are starting to show between several teammates, and among the various teams. Despite their constant arguments in every leg, Henry and Terri have managed to beat the odds to stay in the race but can their luck hold out?

While Marc and Rovilson have been coming in at first place for the last few legs, they are not the teams that the others want out of the race. It is Ann and Diane who are on everyone's hit list. Can the dancing moms sashay past the other teams without stepping on any more toes?

IRASHAIMASU
After spending two legs in Auckland, New Zealand, the teams uncover their next clue which will take them a little further up north, to Tokyo, Japan. In the Land Of The Rising Sun, racers must find Shiba Park, one of the nation's oldest reserves built around the Zojoji Buddhist Temple, for their next clue.

The first to head off to the airport, Marc knows that Rovilson cannot wait to touch down in Japan. "I'm going to have to blindfold my partner because he loves Japanese girls," teases Marc, to which Rovilson simply nods his head earnestly.

One by one, the teams tear open their clue and are ecstatic about flying off to a new location. Still, there are those who are beginning to feel the heat from the last few rounds.

After coming in second last in yet another leg, the pressure is mounting for Henri and Terri. Still, the married couple vow to do their best, by still playing by their own rules. "We're not movie stars, we're not dancers or singers, we don't host our own shows. We're not models," notes Henry. "We're different from most of them. That's just the way we are."

Sawaka and Daichi are especially happy, since their hometown advantage is not just about familiarity with the location, but in understanding the Japanese culture and language as well. "We speak the language, so that's definitely an advantage," enthuses Sawaka. Still, the siblings say they would likely help the other teams in Japan, if any of the teams approaches them. However, they stop short of offering help to all of the teams.

"We get along with them and we'll help them," says Sawaka. "Except for one. We won't help the moms." Her brother concurs. "The Malaysian moms are rude and it seems that everyone hates them." This sentiment is shared by some of the other teams as well.

Explains Terri, "Diane is the sneaky evil one. Outside she's the sweety sweety one but deep inside she's the devil."
